 e-PRO – Designation from the National Association of Realtors® (NAR)

An e-PRO is a Realtor® who has successfully completed the e-PRO training program for real estate professionals.  Endorsed by the National Association of Realtors®, the e-PRO course teaches professionals the nuts and bolts of working with real estate on-line: Web sites, e-mail, on-line tools, and most of all, what today's consumer really wants.  To learn more, click here.

EMS – Designation from National Council of (Property) Exchangers

Often, your EMS real estate broker can help you achieve a tax-free exchange of real property through the tax deferral provisions of Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code. These tax-free Section 1031 exchanges allow you to compound your real estate equity instead of bleeding it through the unnecessary payment of capital gains taxes. NCE members meet in local, regional, and national groups to help each other solve their clients' real estate problems.

NCE members bear the designation of Equity Marketing Specialist or "EMS" after achieving a high level of education in real estate marketing, real estate counseling, real estate taxation, real estate financing, real estate management, and real estate exchange as determined by the National Council of Exchangors.
