legendary sports car of the same name! That?s why we couldn?t be happier
to select Realtor Debbie as our Honey Bee Volunteer of the Month winner.
Debbie Ferrari is well connected in her local communities, with an
impressive record of South Orange County community service."
A thirty year real estate
veteran, Debbie was awarded the coveted "Volunteer of the Month" award,
from SouthOCBuzz. And that placed her picture on the cover of that

served on one of the city's early committees to study the best uses for the
then-crumbling Casa Romantica, home of Ole Hanson, founder of San Clemente,
and she remains a Vice President of the Heritage of San Clemente Foundation,
an early advocate of Casa renewal. The Casa, now, mostly restored, is

San Clemente’s Downtown Business Association To Help Beautify the Downtown

As a board member of the
San Clemente Downtown Business Association,
(DBA), Debbie chaired the “Community Cookbook Project,” in which
residents were asked to compete for prizes for the best recipe in
various cooking categories. The best recipies were published in
this cookbook which Debbie edited…. the top winner got a
$500 shopping spree. The $15,000 budget was paid out in only two
months, and to date, book sales have proved a $35,000 profit for the
DBA. The merchant group uses the funds for downtown beautification,
to help other charities, and for scholarships.

Foundation President, Bill Koelzer
For eight years, Debbie Ferrari has been an active vice president and board member of the Heritage of San Clemente Foundation, one of the city’s most active non-profit groups which is a leader in getting things done in the community.
The Heritage Foundation was the major organization behind saving the Casa Romantica, the Cliffside home of the founder of San Clemente, from the bulldozer, and for turning it into a magnificently restored civic and cultural center for the entire community.
The Heritage Foundation also almost single-handedly raised the $200,000 to have a superb bronze statue of a Marine saluting the flag be erected in a brand new city park near San Clemente’s pier. More than 2,000 residents and scores of active duty Marines, including several generals, from nearby Marine Camp Pendleton, attended the dedication and statue unveiling on November 19, 2005.
